Rolling Stone settles with frat named in debunked story
The University of Virginia fraternity named in the now-debunked Rolling Stone article about an on-campus rape has settled its lawsuit against the magazine for $1.65 million. Rolling Stone eventually retracted the story, and a jury awarded $3 million to a university administrator who claimed the magazine defamed her.
