As you review your financial assets—home equity, retirement savings, and investments—you may be surprised by the legacy you've built.
Planned giving allows you to make a lasting impact on future generations while potentially reducing your tax burden. By designating all or part of your legacy to WORLD, you help ensure that Biblically sound journalism continues for years to come.

Thank you for considering WORLD as part of your legacy. Your generosity helps sustain truth-driven reporting for the future.
Now is the perfect time to confirm who you have named as primary and contingent (secondary) beneficiaries of your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), 401k investment, and life insurance policy.
This is a detail you can evaluate and update easily, without the help of a law team. None of these assets flow through your Will or Living Trust. They are funneled directly to your beneficiaries.
All of these may be subject to estate taxes should your estate be large enough at your death.
Please consider naming WORLD as a beneficiary. You retain control throughout your life, and each asset can be divided amongst a number of recipients. Any funds left to WORLD will be received tax free.
Here's how:
Primary Beneficiary: God's World Publications, Inc. ( ___%) OR
Contingent Beneficiary: God's World Publications, Inc. ( ___%)
These accounts will each have separate beneficiary forms. You will need to use the form provided by the managing institution. These can often be completed online or by contacting your Human Resources representative.
If you're 70 1/2 or older, you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) each year.
Did you know you can donate up to $108,000 of this distribution annually to WORLD through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)? This popular giving method allows you to support Biblically objective journalism while potentially reducing your taxable income.
To get started, contact your IRA custodian for details.
You can name WORLD in your Will or Living Trust, guaranteeing your support of Biblically objective journalism far into the future. This can be done by working with your attorney or using a computer-generated service (ie. Legal Zoom).
Charitable gifts from a Will or Living Trust must use specific language. Here's our suggestion:
"I give and bequeath to God's World Publications, Inc. ($ ___) or ( ____%)."
You can designate all or a portion of your bank, credit union, and standard investment (non-IRA) accounts to WORLD.
Do this by naming God's World Publications, Inc. as a recipient POD (Payable on Death) or TOD (Transfer on Death). Ask your financial institution for assistance.
A Charitable Gift Annuity is a way to donate to WORLD at your death while receiving a lifetime of income and benefiting from reduced taxes in the present. Charitable Remainder Trusts function in a similar manner but are more suitable to larger gifts.
Contact your financial advisor for details.
