Q: How can I activate my subscription?
A:
Go to our activation page. You will need to enter your account number, which is located on your address label followed by the leading zeroes and your 5 digit zip code.

Q: Where can I find more information about all of your publications?
A:
You can explore our catalog page at subscribe.wng.org. To request a sample/preview, please contact Member Services at (828) 435-2981.

Q: Where can I find the Voices section?
A: VOICES is listed in the dropdown menu under “TOPICS” at the top of the page.

Q: Where is the JOURNALS section?
A: This column type has been discontinued. To find past Journals, go to “TOPICS” in the main menu at the top of the page.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from emails?
Manager your email preferences using wng.org/newsletters.

Q: Why can't I view all of the magazine issues for free?
A: We have updated our subscription model. To view your subscription options, go to the Subscribe page.

Q: How can I comment on articles?
A: You will need to log into your account, subscribe, or create a free profile in order to enable comments.

Q: Where can I find the Mailbag section?
A: Go to the "MAGAZINE" section under "VOICES" to access Mailbag.

Q: Where can I find the Archives?
A: To access the magazine and digital archives, hover over "TOPICS" in the top menu, then click on "SEARCH ARCHIVES." For the Writer Archives page, you can find it in the site footer menu.

Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?

A: Click here, enter your email address into the form and submit. If the email address is found, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Once you have reset your password, you will be logged in. You may click on Lost Your Password? at the bottom of the login page. The login page can be accessed by clicking on Welcome, Guest on the upper-right-hand side of the page and then clicking Login. Q: What do I do if my password does not work?

A: Check the caps lock on your keyboard. The username and password are case sensitive. You may also want to check the expiration date of your subscription to make sure your account is still active. To find the expiration date of your subscription, look on the mailing label of your print magazine (as seen in red below) or contact our Member Services team at (828) 435-2981.

Q: How can I change my password?

A: Login to the website and then click on My Account. Click the link that says Reset Your Password in the Manage My Account section. Your email address and password will be displayed. Under the Password field click Change Password. Fill out the form and your new password will be in effect. If you need assistance, please contact technical support at techsupport@wng.org or call our Member Services team at (828) 435-2981.

Q: How can I access WORLD's website on my mobile device?

A: Type in wng.org using your mobile device's web browser. You can also go to your phone's app store and search for "WORLD Magazine" to download our free app.

Q: How can I sign up to receive news and updates from WORLD by email?

A: To receive WORLD updates by email or to adjust your current email preferences, click here.

Q: How do I report a vulgar or offensive comment?

A: Click the Report Comment to Moderator link under the offending comment, or send an email to the Web Editor at editor@wng.org.

Q: What do I do if someone else is using my name to post comments on the site?

A: Contact the Web Editor at editor@wng.org for assistance. We will do all we can to correct the situation and punish the guilty party, but we cannot be held liable for their actions, nor can we be held responsible for the comments being cached on online search engines such as Google.
