Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions

The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions after a nail-biter of a win, 38-35, over the Philadelphia Eagles in the game at Glendale, Arizona. The Eagles had led by 10 points at halftime. This is the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

What made the game a nail-biter? The Chiefs’ Harrison Butker kicked a 27-yard field goal with 8 seconds left—that was after quarterback Patrick Mahomes ran for 26 yards and threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes. Mahomes had been suffering from a sprained ankle but said there “was nothing that was going to keep me off that football field.”
