Chuck Norris and Tony Dungy cheer on Tim Tebow

Former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is still looking for a job after being let go by the Jets last month. Despite rumors linking the former University of Florida star to the Jacksonville Jaguars, spokesmen for the organization have told the media that the team is not interested in the popular Christian quarterback.

In an opinion piece published last Sunday, film and television star Chuck Norris endorsed Tebow, calling the 25-year-old player a “natural-born leader” and asking the Jaguars to give “serious thought” to signing him.

Retired NFL coach Tony Dungy also publicly offered his support, offering Tebow encouragement as he looks for a new team: “The advice I’d have for Tim is just to be patient, be faithful; the Lord has a good spot for you. He’s going to give you the right situation.”
