President Donald Trump revoked former Vice President Kamala Harris’ Secret Service security detail, the Associated Press reported, citing a senior White House official.
Vice presidents typically receive Secret Service protection for six months after their term of office ends. The order would have lasted for an additional year, according to the BBC.
A senior advisor for Harris told CNN that the former vice president was grateful to the members of the Secret Service for professionalism, dedication, and commitment to safety.
