Judge enters not guilty plea for Idaho murder suspect
Bryan Kohberger on Monday declined to enter a guilty or not-guilty plea during an arraignment in a Latah County, Idaho, court. His attorney, Anne Taylor, said he would “stand silent,” and the judge entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf. An Idaho grand jury last week indicted him on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary for the November killings of four University of Idaho students. The Idaho judge set the trial for Oct. 2.
What crime is he accused of? He is charged with killing Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho. Pennsylvania State Police arrested him in December and extradited him to Idaho in January.
