Suspect arrested in murder of four University of Idaho students

Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a 28-year-old suspect in connection with the Nov. 13 stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students. Bryan Christopher Kohberger, a graduate student in criminal justice at Washington State University, was arrested in Monroe County, in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. He was arraigned Friday and is scheduled for an extradition hearing next week. Police and the FBI say they have received about 20,000 tips and conducted over 300 interviews while investigating the case.

What happened to the students? Four university students were murdered on Nov. 13 in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho. The victims were stabbed, and police believe they were asleep when the attack began. Police searched for a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra believed to have been near the home on the date of the murders.
