Hunter Biden says president had no connection to his business dealings

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, testified before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees on Wednesday in a closed-door deposition. “I did not involve my father in my business,”  he said, according to  an opening statement prepared for the deposition and obtained by WORLD. He also called House Republicans’ accusations against his father “lies” and “conspiracy theories,” according to the statement.

What’s this deposition about? House Republicans have formally opened an impeachment inquiry—complete with its own website—into the president, alleging that he participated in an “influence peddling” scheme with his family members’ businesses.
