House to vote on more stimulus money

Members of the House of Representatives are rushing back to Washington to vote on replenishing small business loan funds. The Senate passed the measure on Tuesday, but House leaders could not reach an agreement to approve the bill without a floor vote.

How will they hold a vote safely? Lawmakers will vote in eight different groups in time-allotted blocks on Thursday afternoon. House members came back in person so they would have enough votes to override any objections. Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., disagrees with passing major legislation without recording each member’s decision, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said the bill should have included more money.
