The Christian Lingua translation service in a Thursday news release said it was offering free sermon overdubs in several languages for churches with limited budgets. The initiative could help pastors reach multilingual congregations, including the estimated 62 million Spanish speakers in the United States, the company said. Founder and CEO Michael Yurchuk said the free service was a natural extension of the company’s mission to make the Gospel accessible, according to the release.
The company primarily uses human, Christian translators, theologians, and voice artists for its paid translation and dubbing services, according to its website. It also offers artificial intelligence-assisted options for tighter budgets, which are reviewed by humans, according to the website. It wasn’t immediately clear which process Christian Lingua planned to use for the free sermon overdubbing service.
