Britain’s King Charles returns to duties after cancer diagnosis
The king resumed work on Tuesday, joining Queen Camilla to visit London’s University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Center. It was his first royal appearance following his cancer announcement in February. The pair met with patients to hear about their ongoing treatment and support, according to a social media post by the Royal Family. The palace has not revealed the type of cancer the 75-year-old monarch was treated for.
Any updates on Kate Middleton’s cancer? William, Prince of Wales, was notably solo at engagements in Northeast England the day his father returned to public duties. His wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has shied away from public duties since her diagnosis with cancer after surgery in January. She did not publicly discuss having cancer until March after she received criticism on social media for posting a heavily edited family photo.
