Saddam Hussein in January called for suicide attacks against the United States and Israel should war come. Now comes the chilling audiotape that U.S. intelligence experts say was likely recorded by Osama bin Laden: "We stress the importance of martyrdom operations against the enemy, these attacks that have scared Americans and Israelis like never before. We advise about the importance of drawing the enemy into long, close, and exhausting fighting, taking advantage of camouflaged positions in plains, farms, mountains, and cities." In the past, such bin Laden statements foreshadowed major terrorist attacks by days or weeks.
