Police take guns from California man tied to Wisconsin school shooter
The San Diego Superior Court approved a restraining order filed Wednesday allowing police to seize guns belonging to Alexander Paffendorf. Local news outlet KFMB-TV reported that Paffendorf had threatened to attack a government building. The report also said he was in contact with the shooter who earlier this week attacked students and teachers at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wis.
What did Paffendorf have to say about this? Paffendorf admitted to FBI agents that he told the Madison school shooter that he’d planned to attack a government building with explosives and firearms, KFMB-TV reported, citing law enforcement.
Have there been any updates on the Madison shooting? Police earlier this week urged people not to share a manifesto attributed to the shooter, as they had not been able to authenticate the document. The shooter, who was a 15-year-old girl, died in the attack. She also killed a student and a teacher. Six other individuals suffered injuries.
