Trump wins Michigan, solidifying projected victory

The Associated Press Wednesday afternoon projected that President-elect Donald Trump would win Michigan’s 15 electoral votes. The outlet reported early Wednesday morning that Trump had secured his victory in the 2024 election after winning Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

How many electoral votes does Trump now have? The Associated Press projected early Wednesday afternoon that Trump had won 292 electoral votes. He only needed 270 to return to the White House. Vice President Kamala Harris had only 224, according to the Associated Press’s count.
