Trump names Iowa attorney as new NATO ambassador
President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday morning nominated former acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker to be the new U.S. Ambassador to NATO. He is also a former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Iowa. Trump said in a released statement that he had full confidence in Whitaker’s ability to represent the United States with strength and integrity while building relationships with America’s NATO allies.

For the last four years, McMahon has served as Chairwoman of the Board of the America First Policy Institute, Trump said. During that time she has fought to protect parents’ control over their children’s education, he said. Her appointment to the Cabinet position is subject to approval by the U.S. Senate.
What else has Linda McMahon done? Before her career in public service, McMahon served as the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, also known as the WWE, according to a short biography by the America First Policy Institute. Her husband, Vince McMahon, also served as the CEO of the WWE.
