Three buses of immigrants dropped at U.S. vice president’s home

Buses carried more than 100 people to Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., on Christmas Eve. Authorities said the immigrants were not dressed adequately for freezing temperatures. Two buses arrived at Harris’ home earlier this year after she said in an interview that the U.S. border with Mexico was secure.

Who sent the buses? Texas officials have not taken credit for sending the buses to Washington, although they have claimed responsibility for busing upwards of 10,000 people to so-called “sanctuary cities” across the Midwest and East Coast, including Washington, D.C.
