Tennessee bus crash kills at least six children
Six children died Monday afternoon when a school bus carrying them home crashed into a tree in Chattanooga, Tenn. Five children died at the scene and another died later at a local hospital. First responders transported 23 of the 35 passengers to the hospital. The bus was the only vehicle involved in the accident, and it's not yet clear what happened. The driver is cooperating with investigators. All the children attended Woodmore Elementary School. Local residents lined up outside the area blood bank, which extended hours to help the crash victims.
