A suicide bomber killed at least 64 people and wounded dozens in an attack on a hospital in southwestern Pakistan today. A breakaway faction of the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, which targeted a group of about 100 lawyers gathered at the hospital to pay respects to a colleague who was shot and killed earlier in the day by the same terrorists. The shooting victim, Bilal Kasi, was one of the most outspoken lawyers in the province. The militant group, known as Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, has commited several acts of terror in Pakistan in recent years.
