Shooter wounds three at Texas Border Patrol facility

An individual opened fire on Monday morning at the entrance of a U.S. Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, Texas, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The shooter wounded two local police officers and a Border Patrol employee, the department said.
Is the situation over? Border Patrol agents and local police neutralized the shooter, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The FBI is leading an investigation into the attack, the department said.
How serious are the victims’ injuries? One person was shot in the knee, but the department hadn’t released detailed information on the other victims’ condition as of noon on Monday. All three went to the hospital, the department said. The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas said one McAllen police officer, a member of CLEAT, was in stable condition.
