Scaramucci booted from White House
WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump removed White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on Monday. Scaramucci joined the West Wing just 10 days ago. Since then, White House press secretary Sean Spicer and chief of staff Reince Preibus both resigned. Scaramucci publicly feuded with Preibus for a week, punctuated by a vulgar rant to The New Yorker in which he called Preibus a “paranoid schizophrenic.” Trump swore in his new chief of staff, John Kelly, Monday morning. Both The New York Times and Politico reported Kelly made the decision to remove Scaramucci. Spicer had served as both the communications director and press secretary since May. Scaramucci wasn’t set to start in an official capacity until Aug. 15.
