More turkey, please

Thanksgiving foodies can go for the bigger bird this year—the price of turkey is the lowest it has been since 2010. The cost dipped 4 percent from last year, down to $20.80 for a 16-pound bird, the American Farm Bureau Federation found in its 34th annual Thanksgiving grocery list.

How’s the rest of dinner looking? The cost of a complete meal for 10 people has only gone up 1 cent, making it more affordable than last year when accounting for inflation. Sweet potatoes, rolls, and milk all saw modest increases. But there’s plenty of reason to be thankful: Along with turkey, shoppers can also get more canned pumpkin pie mix per buck.
