Marjorie Taylor Greene plans to impeach Biden

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., on Thursday said she intends to introduce articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden, calling him a “direct threat” to the security of the United States for failing to secure the southern border. The White House called Greene’s actions a “political stunt.” Greene also said she’s bringing impeachment articles against other Biden administration figures, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Will Biden actually be impeached? Greene has said she plans to build support for her impeachment articles before bringing them to the House floor. It remains to be seen how much support she will receive. Republicans in Congress have tried impeaching Biden before without success.
