<em>Late Show</em> crew not charged for wandering around Capitol

Last month, Capitol police arrested nine people associated with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, including the voice actor who plays Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, who were wandering the U.S. Capitol complex unattended. On Monday, federal prosecutors decided they could not continue to press charges because The Late Show staff’s escorts had chosen to leave them unattended. The arrests followed the third Jan. 6 committee hearing.

What’s happening with the Jan. 6 committee? White House aides Matthew Pottinger and Sara Matthews are expected to testify in the next committee hearings about Trump's whereabouts and actions for several hours on that day. The next committee meeting is 8 p.m. Thursday
