Israel kills senior Hamas figures

The Israeli military early on Thursday targeted Hamas facilities with airstrikes, including a bank and a compound housing its naval squad. Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday took down a set of high-rise towers and killed as many as 10 senior members of the militant group, the military added. Hamas has also continued to fire rockets at Israeli cities, 90 percent of which were intercepted by Israel's missile defenses.

What is the impact of the fighting? Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least 69 Palestinians have died, including 16 children and six women. Israel recorded seven deaths, four of them on Wednesday. The military struck over 350 targets in Gaza since the fighting began Monday. Militants from Gaza fired more than  1,600 rockets since Monday.
