Former President Clinton taken to hospital
Former President Bill Clinton on Monday afternoon was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, according to Angel Ureña, his deputy chief of staff. Clinton was brought in for testing and observation after he developed a fever, Ureña said. The spokesman went on to say that Clinton remains in good spirits and appreciates the care he is receiving. In an interview with CNN, Ureña said the former president hopes to be home by Christmas.
What has the former president been up to recently? In the past few weeks, Clinton has been promoting his new book, Citizen: My Life After the White House. The book is a political memoir that focuses on his activities and philanthropic efforts in his post-presidential life.
