FBI searches Biden’s beach home, finds no classified documents

The FBI on Wednesday took some handwritten notes and other materials related to President Joe Biden’s time as vice president, Biden’s attorney Bob Bauer said. The documents the FBI took will be reviewed. Biden is cooperating with the investigation and the latest search—which lasted three hours—was planned, Bauer said. The Department of Justice, White House, and FBI have not commented on the recent search. This is the FBI’s third search for classified documents potentially in Biden’s possession—the two other locations were an office at a think tank in Washington and Biden’s other home in Delaware.

How is the House’s investigation going? Last month, the committee requested a classified briefing on the documents found in Biden’s homes and former President Donald Trump’s homes. Representative Chris Stewart, a Republican from Utah, said the committee wants to know if there are any national security implications.
