NATO reaffirms support for Ukraine

NATO leaders met in Estonia on Thursday and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Ukraine through military aid, while emphasizing that NATO itself is not at war with Russia. U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says the fight belongs to Ukraine, but that the U.S. will give Ukraine as much support as possible.

How do Americans feel about the war? A recent Associated Press-NORC poll shows that fewer and fewer Americans support sending Ukraine weapons. About 30 percent are opposed, and another 20 percent say they have no opinion. A few months after the war began last February, well over half of U.S. adults favored sending military aid.
