Crews search for missing in Tennessee floods
The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page filled with posts from people looking for missing friends and family. Search crews in Tennessee are still digging through shattered homes and tangled debris, looking for about a dozen people still missing in a flood-ravaged part of the state. What is the damage like? People who live in Waverly, Tenn., described a wall of water rushing into their town from higher ground. At least 22 people died in the flood. GoFundMe pages asked for help for funeral expenses for the dead. The water left a landscape of collapsed houses, tangled debris, and flipped vehicles strewn about town.
