Christian singer CeCe Winans wins two Grammys
The “Goodness of God” singer won the Grammy for best gospel album on Sunday for her latest release, More Than This. Winans also won the Grammy for the best contemporary Christian music performance for her collab song "That's My King” with Taylor Agan, Kellie Gamble, Lloyd Nicks, and Jess Russ. Winans released a video late Sunday night thanking Jesus and her family for their love and support. It was an honor and privilege to be in God’s family and advance his kingdom, she said.
The Grammy for the best contemporary Christian music album went to singer DOE for her album Heart Of A Human, and singer Cory Henry won the Grammy for the best roots gospel album for his record Church. Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Erica Campbell, and Israel Houghton also won the Grammy for the best gospel performance/song for their collaborative track “One Hallelujah.”
