Christian apologist Nabeel Qureshi dies after battle with stomach cancer

Author and former-Muslim-turned-Christian-apologist Nabeel Qureshi died Saturday after a yearlong battle with stomach cancer. He was 34. Qureshi, a Pakistani-American, was a speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, traveling the world to lecture and debate Muslim scholars. Qureshi wrote The New York Times best-seller Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, which chronicled his conversion. In 2016, WORLD named his book No God but One a runner-up for Book of the Year in the Understanding the World category. In a tribute to Qureshi published in The Washington Post, Zacharias noted Qureshi’s passion for the lost: “He desired to cover the globe with that good news: that God’s forgiveness was available to all.” Qureshi’s wife Michelle and their 2-year-old daughter Ayah Fatima survive him.
