Jurors in New York City on Monday found the Alexander brothers guilty of federal sex charges including sex trafficking. The verdict came after a weekslong trial where 11 victims testified, said Jay Clayton, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Victims accused Tal, 39, and 38-year-old twins Oren and Alon of using their high-profile influence to lure, drug, and sexually abuse young women. The jury found the brothers guilty of engaging in a yearslong conspiracy of rape, sex trafficking, sex abuse, and sexual exploitation, Clayton said. He said the brothers’ acts were chilling, reprehensible, and unacceptable.

The three brothers will be sentenced later this year and face up to life in prison.

How have the brothers responded? In a statement, the Alexander family called the jury’s verdict deeply disappointing. They said there were substantial problems with the evidence and the way the case was presented.

What were the brothers accused of? Federal prosecutors first charged the brothers in December 2024 and accused the trio of using their money, power, and status to take advantage of women. Oren and Tal were nicknamed “The A Team” for their luxury real estate business that sold high-end properties in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Alon worked as an executive at the family’s private security firm, according to an indictment. Prosecutors said the brothers would use the promise of luxury travel or accommodations to lure women to locations where they would then be drugged and assaulted. The brothers engaged in sex trafficking for more than a decade, according to the indictment.
