PHOTOS: Texas town grieves slain children
19 students and two adults died in a shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas

“We’re a small community and we’re going to need your prayers to get through this,” Uvalde schools superintendent Hal Harrell said Tuesday. Officials confirmed Wednesday that all of the 19 children shot dead at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, were in the same fourth-grade classroom. They and two adults were killed by an 18-year-old Uvalde High School senior who entered the school wearing a tactical vest and carrying a rifle he bought legally. Law enforcement shot him dead inside the school.
