NICK EICHER, HOST: You’ve heard the saying, everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.
Time to retire that saying.
In upstate New York, the Depew police department has placed winter under arrest.
In what has to be a satirical post on Facebook:
The department warns winter that any more snow will be held against you in court.
Depew police also called for Punxsutawney Phil to turn himself in. You know, the groundhog.
He’s wanted for questioning over his prediction of only six more weeks of winter back on February 2nd.
It’s now going on 10.
New York’s had unseasonable wintry weather this month and high winds have knocked out power lines and forced schools to close.
