NICK EICHER, HOST: The odds of having identical twins are pretty long, about 1 in 250. But what are the odds of this happening?
Two sets of 24-year-old identical twins had their first date together, became engaged at the same time and just got married over the weekend.
Listen to Kassie Bevier telling TV station WILX about their first meeting in a college psychology class.
BEVIER: And you know how psychology loves twin studies, and so the professor was like hey are there any twins in the room? Raise your hand if you’re a twin, and so both him and I raised our hands. And he turned and saw me and … that was it! (laughs)
Wasn’t long after that, that her twin sister met his twin brother — and, that was it.
The couples got married on separate days, but did share a reception on Saturday.
Here’s hoping they wore nametags!
