NICK EICHER, HOST: People driving in suburban Miami recently noticed a big typo on the street. Except it wasn’t a typo. It was painted. A paint-o?

AUDIO: It’s not spelled right. You don’t spell school that way.

No, you don’t. It was for a school crossing. But it said SCOHOL.  

AUDIO: It’s not a good thing when you misspell school. It’s not a good look at all.

Mmm-mm. WPLG television eyewitness news in Miami spotted the paint-o in suburban Doral, and city officials jumped right on it. They sent a crew to scrape the surface and repaint.

Reporter Saira Anwer was on the scene and she confirmed the copyedit.
