Kicker: Missing wedding ring

NICK EICHER, HOST: Somewhere in Illinois, someone is missing what might be a wedding ring.

Mark Driscoll owns the Ace Hardware in Sugar Grove. He found a ring inside a pair of work gloves on sale at the store. He intended to buy the gloves for himself when he felt the ring inside.

He’s posted a lost ring notice on the store’s Facebook page. But he’s not describing the ring to exact specifications, lest false claims come forward.

He’s expecting the true owner will be able to describe the ring accurately — and hoping for a very happy ending.
