NICK EICHER, HOST: A few days before the big U.S.-North Korea summit, a Kim Jong Un lookalike got a long second look — and it was a pretty thorough one.
IMPERSONATOR: Hey, Mr. Trump. I’m already here in Singapore. I’m just waiting for you to turn up.
The Hong Kong–based impersonator goes by the name Howard X. Authorities at the Singapore airport detained and questioned him for two hours before letting him go.
Later in the day, he caught up with Donald Trump impersonator Dennis Alan, and the two walked hand-in-hand around a popular tourist attraction, mugging for pictures.
The two first showed up together at the Winter Olympics in South Korea. Alan, the Trump impersonator, said he and Howard X, the Kim impersonator, were the first to suggest a summit. So if a peace prize results, it ought to go to them.
