NICK EICHER, HOST: High school football is back in season!
And Sioux City North High School has a really terrific offense this year.
How good, you ask?
Well, good enough to hang 81 points on Thomas Jefferson High School.
Problem was, while the offense was stellar, the defense, well, let me put it like this:
Jefferson scored 99.
Yeah, that August 31st game was the highest-scoring game in the history of Iowa high-school football: 99-to-81. Sounds more like a basketball score.
