NICK EICHER, HOST: The late Bob Ross was known for his soothing tones for more than 10 years as host of The Joy of Painting on PBS.
ROSS: Painting is a very individual thing. We all see nature through different eyes and that’s the way you should paint it.
Ross acknowledged that his voice even caused some viewers to nod off.
The Joy of Painting went off the air in 1994.
But soon meditation and sleep apps will bring Ross back to summon insomniacs back into slumber.
Joan Kowalski’s head of Bob Ross Incorporated and she doesn’t find that idea offensive at all. She thinks Bob would’ve loved it.
