NICK EICHER, HOST: The federal government this week released a secret FBI file. It’s been withheld from public view since the ’70s.

This super-secret file reveals new evidence on a controversial topic.

It has to do with a hairy, upright-walking, ape-like creature that lives in the woods and frequently leaves behind footprints.

I’m of course talking about Bigfoot. You know, Sasquatch.

Seriously, the FBI file has letters and details of tissue samples.

But the conclusions are less mysterious than the lore around Bigfoot.

Turns out the FBI sent a letter in the 1970s to the Academy of Applied Sciences in Boston.

The hair sample? Well, that came from a deer.

In other words, no evidence of Sasquatch has been found.
