WORLD Radio - Kicker: A household divided

NICK EICHER, HOST: The Donald Trump presidency has been so divisive.

MARY REICHARD, HOST: How divisive has it been?

EICHER: Glad you asked.

It’s been so divisive that a father and son are running against each other for a state House seat in Rhode Island.

David Quiroa Senior is a staunch Trump supporter.

David Quiroa Junior is, well, let’s just say not so staunch.

Both of them are running against an incumbent Democrat. But father and son do not see eye-to-eye on President Trump.

But maybe they offered a model for dispute resolution: When they headed to city hall to file their candidacy papers, they drove together.

REICHARD: Awwww

EICHER: It’s The World and Everything in It.
