The latest example found in the ancient city of Hebron.
The chief of police there is a man named Ahmad Abu al-Rub. Someone shot a video of him helping Israeli soldiers fix a flat tire on their jeep.
The vehicle was blocking a road and al-Rub saw the soldiers struggling to fix it. So he offered to help.
What you’d ordinarily consider a simple act of kindness, a Palestinian government official saw as treasonous.
The police chief found himself suspended for the collaborating with the enemy. He now faces an “investigative committee.”
