Your race, your sex, your choice!

In a world of moral relativism, truth becomes an ephemeral thing. Although moral relativists certainly know what “wrong” is when they’re on the receiving end, they’re less subjective when it comes to other people.

Under moral relativism, if a man can put on a dress, pretend to be a woman, and expect to be taken seriously, a white woman can darken her skin, frizz her hair, pretend to be black, and also expect to be taken seriously. If it’s all about “identity” and feelings, people can make themselves over into any image they want, as far as their depraved minds can take them.

Rachel Dolezal, who’s lied and allegedly perpetrated fake hate crimes, has remained defiant after her phony life was exposed. She appeared on NBC’s Today show Tuesday and maintained her black identity. The left’s negative reaction to her “transracialism” reeks of “transgenderism” hypocrisy. It dismantles their “race is a social construct” façade. Sex is biological, and race has a biological basis, just as God designed them. Jenner doesn’t have XX chromosomes, and Dolezal isn’t of sub-Saharan African descent.

Dolezal’s fraud also calls into question the government policy best known by the euphemism “affirmative action.” What did she gain by claiming to be black? Would she have been president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP if she’d been open about being white? The Spokesman Review reported that Dolezal lied about having a black police officer for a father when she sought (and received) an appointment to Spokane’s Office of Police Ombudsman Commission. “I thought that kind of background would be beneficial,” Spokane City Councilman and Public Safety Committee Chairman Jon Snyder said.

Colleges and universities across the country, private and public, lower admission standards for members of certain races for the sake of diversity. Vijay Chokal-Ingam, who is of Indian descent, admitted to lying on medical school applications, where he indicated he was black. Why? Because he knows schools assess black applicants by a lower standard. Despite his 3.1 GPA, he said he “became a serious contender at some of the greatest medical schools in America, including Harvard, Wash U, UPenn, Case Western, and Columbia.” In commenting on Dolezal’s situation, Chokal-Ingam criticized the NAACP for supporting racial preferences while refusing to call out a white woman exploiting racial preferences. Naturally, he’s writing a book about his gimmick.

As a “black” woman with light eyes and skin, Dolezal insulated herself in a color-conscious reality and race-baited with a woe-is-me phony history of oppression. The liberal narrative is one of perpetual victimhood. One can blame anything on “institutional racism.” It’s a ready-made excuse propped up on the backs of people who actually were chattel slaves and lived under legal segregation.

Adopt one standard and get rid of preferences—economic and academic—and let people claim to identify any way they want! Cross-sexual, cross-racial, cross-species, whatever. If there are no moral absolutes, objective standards, or truth, on what basis can unbelievers deny anyone anything?

But for believers, there is absolute Truth, and we won’t be denied our reward as long as we find our identity in Christ and not in this morally relativistic world.
