‘Cuomo lost everything tonight except the nomination.’

Former New York City Public Advocate Mark Green on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Sept. 9 Democratic primary victory against little-known challenger Zephyr Teachout. Cuomo was able to garner only 61.7 percent of the vote against the underfunded Teachout, a performance that has raised questions about his viability as a national candidate for the Democratic Party.
