Talk about abortion on demand. A Florida woman allegedly dragged her pregnant 16-year-old daughter at gunpoint to an abortion business and demanded a surgical abortion or else the woman would perform the abortion herself with a revolver. The daughter told police that her mother, Glenda Dowis, pointed a 38-caliber revolver at her belly at their Fort Pierce home, then drove her 67 miles to a clinic just outside West Palm Beach. According to police, Ms. Dowis told a nurse in the waiting room, "If my daughter doesn't have this abortion, I'm going to blow her brains out." Clinic workers called police, who arrested Ms. Dowis and charged her with one count of false imprisonment and one count of domestic assault. The abortionist left the unborn child unharmed.
