Missionaries with SIM (Serving in Mission) constructed in the 1930s the original mission church in Malumfashi, Nigeria. Muslim gangs destroyed a newer, larger church-along with a clinic, housing, and 25 vehicles-on the site following the election of President Goodluck Jonathan in April 2011. Christians now meet in the old mission church again, with 500 attending Sunday services, many in overflow chairs outside.
