Next week: Expanded pro-life coverage
WORLD covers abortion developments throughout the year, but on our website next week from Monday through Friday, as we remember the Jan. 22 anniversary of the tragic Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973, we’ll have two special series.
One series supplements my interview with Camilla Hersh featured in WORLD Magazine’s current Roe v. Wade issue. In our online segments Dr. Hersh, a board member of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, discusses the thinking of abortionists, coverage of abortion in mainstream media, birth control facts and fallacies, respect for religious liberty in medical training, and technological developments.
In our second series we’ll republish each day an article from WORLD’s extensive online archives. These articles date back to 1997, which is when our annual Roe v. Wade issues began, and look at the introduction of RU-486 and ultrasounds, pro-life Benedict Arnolds and those who persevered, and the life of one unaborted baby who lived for three months and touched many lives.
And on Friday, look for Evan Wilt’s report from the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.
