Migrants enter a makeshift church in a migrant camp outside the northern French port of Calais on Aug. 16. The camp is housing approximately 3,000 migrants mostly from Africa but also Afghanistan and elsewhere, many waiting to cross the English Channel to Britain. In addition to the Orthodox church constructed in the Ethiopian and Eritrean section, the camp has four mosques.
