Arnold Palmer, widely hailed as “the King” of golf, died Sept. 25 from heart complications at the age of 87. Palmer began playing golf at the age of 3 and went on to win 62 professional golf titles. He maintained a warm relationship with loyal fans and drove American interest in the sport. According to Tiger Woods, “If it wasn’t for Arnold, golf wouldn’t be as popular as it is now.”
